Hey Frank!! Sorry Man, I thanked Mike for the buzz tip that you laid on us. I pulled the tank on my Suzi last night, and as I was fixin' to wrap or coat those bolt shafts, I noticed a scrap of heat shrink tubing on the bench. Going into my heat shrink tubing supply, I found that there is a size that exactly fits over the shaft.
"Hot Damn"!! he said as he cut three pieces, slipped them over the bolt shafts and verrry carefully toasted them lightly to tighten them down.
I also put a dab of Liquid Black Plastic Rubber on the end of the spring (where it contacts the tab) and reassembled the unit while this was still soft.
Today promises to be hot, I'm deliberately parking the bike where it will be in the sun - the conditions that seem to lead to the buzzing. I am willing to bet the mortgage that the @#%& buzz will be gone gone gone.
